Wheres another personal video hosting website other WMG-lawyer-infested Youtube? I literally spent days planning and personal development * * wedding video to share with family members and friends. Well, where else but to upload to YouTube right? It was about a year ago ... Since then, Youtube video has completely demolished my marriage proposal I made for my girlfriends birthday (cannot get more personal than that) and turned off the audio for my video profile wedding dinner ... It is clear in my video descriptions of artists and songs used in video and I also wrote a statement of songs used in this video are all copyrighted materials of their respective owners. I do not claim any association with them and I'm not selling this personal videos. Please support our talented artists by buying their albums. to which I said legally buy music albums. If a lawyer WMG actually sat down to watch my videos, they must be blind and deaf not to notice that they are for personal use. Does this law apply? Understandably, from the perspective of lawsuits, YouTube (Google) was the tough crackdown on copyright infringement ... so I've actually went out and inquired what it costs to buy the rights to use some songs, and publishers of music more mainstream pay an annual subscription of-thousands of dollars using a library-hundreds-of-songs ... Well, I only use 1 or 2 songs and I'm willing to pay a bit for them only to avoid all the legal headaches ... No, c is no option, unless youre willing to pay an arm and a leg for each track, s only option is to pay the full annual subscription ... or that, or go spend hours on-end-movement through the Web sites of Creative Commons (hopefully) find a song that matches the state of mood, feel and lyrics that I want ... I can understand completely its illegal for someone to steal music (and / or video) and go all claim as their own ... but I do not ... and to be honest, after someone watched one of my videos, I have emailed and commented on how beautiful the song was. I get a pat on the back for that potential customer or even get a penny for the Commission, if they bought CDs? No ... nor is my intention ... Im just glad they enjoyed the video and I really hope that they go to support our artists. Im a normal guy who puts in a hard-working days Monday through Friday, pay my taxes on time and just want to make some home videos to share with family and friends without any problems and my fear of becoming disabled .. videos .
